FOR U.S. WORKSHOPS
About Ultrasonic Compass
Clearer workshop buying decisions, one verified detail at a time.
Ultrasonic Compass is an English-language research and buying-guide website focused on ultrasonic parts cleaners for U.S. home workshops. Our starting topics include carburetor maintenance, small-engine parts, and how to choose a practical cleaner by the dimensions of the parts that need cleaning.
Our mission
Buying a cleaner should begin with the job—not a misleading tank-size badge or a long list of unrelated products. We explain what product specifications can tell you, which questions still need an answer, and when not buying a machine may make more sense.
What makes our guides useful
- Measure-first decisions. We separate tank volume from usable basket dimensions, liquid depth, and part compatibility.
- Exact-product research. We distinguish brand families, model variations, manuals, and U.S. retail offerings instead of mixing specs.
- Source transparency. We identify the manufacturer, document, or listing behind material product facts and note when information is missing or contradictory.
- Safety-aware recommendations. We do not substitute online anecdotes for a machine’s own manual, a cleaning product’s safety data sheet, or a part maker’s requirements.
Research-based, not a hands-on test lab
Our current published buying guides are research-based. We have not physically tested the machines discussed. We do not claim measured cleaning performance, durability, noise, or verified fit for specific carburetors when no such testing took place. If future articles include original hands-on tests, those tests and their limits will be identified clearly.
